Since its inception, Panadent has had a policy of selling through
education, innovation and quality and this strategy is strongly
featured in our educational programme for dental technicians, surgeons
and others. It is believed that during the past 30 years Panadent
has trained more dental technicians in the art of dental technology
than any other commercial establishment throughout the UK.
Vita’s concept of quality ceramics and teeth has resulted
in the extraordinary range of Vita porcelains we see today and
to get the most from this new generation of porcelains, training
is an essential pre-requisite.

Desperately
seeking occlusion course for dentists and technicians
Panadent in conjunction with the GKT (Guy's, Kings and St Thomas's
Trust) team have developed the 'Desperately Seeking Occlusion'
course. Both Dr Steve Dunne, Head of Dept Teamcare Dentistry and
Dr Rob Abraham, Senior Lecturer provide a stimulating practical
day taking a broad perspective in terms of how occlusion, the correct
use of articulators and bite registration techniques can dramatically
improve practice results in an increasingly demanding atmosphere.
Delegates are able to practically use course articulators under
instruction for optimum results away from the pressures of the
surgery: the use of face-bow records and simple casting techniques
makes the whole day an entirely worthwhile affair.
Panadent Ltd traditionally support such events with the loan of
BioArt GKT articulators which have been the subject of much design
influence from GKT alongside the famous occlusal registration material
FUTAR-D from Kettenbach - one of, if not the hardest, addition
cure silicone impression materials on the market especially confectioned
for the very purpose and now available in a new EXTRA RAPID SETTING
version (Futar Fast sets in just 45 secs which is twice as fast
as seen previously).
The GKT Team regularly run such events in and around London and
the country as a whole: to find out about the next event at West
Middlesex, contact Rosina Jones on 020 8321 5405;
for other locations interested delegates should speak to Emma
Dunne at the Weston Education Centre GKT Kings Campus on
020 7848 5765. A special student rate from Panadent means
that BioArt articulators purchased by delegates are especially
financially attractive.
